The patient fills out a registration form and describes his or her problem to a medical professional that records it on the registration form.
Two triage volunteers work together to record vitals, and complete a physical examination before the patient is sent to the treatment station.
The doctors review the form and make a diagnosis, initiate treatment, and prescribe medications if appropriate.
The medical professionals receive and distribute prescriptions to treat the patient’s condition.
Organizing international travel schedules and airline ticketing.
Arranging an accommodating hotel during your trip.
Assisting with necessary visas, permits, and other field requirements.
Providing equipment and medical supplies.
Every hotel is inspected by a staff member prior to the trip. In the large cities where the medical clinics will be held, familiar hotels are more readily available, (i.e. Hilton, Westin, etc.)
All restaurants are tested and approved by a staff member. You will eat at widely-known American restaurants (i.e. McDonald's, Wendy's, Pizza Hut) whenever possible. You will also be given the opportunity to partake in the local cuisine.
